This position combines expertise in Human Society and Its Environment (HSIE), particularly History, with a strong commitment to primary Initial Teacher Education. The successful candidate will contribute primarily to the Bachelor of Education (Primary), helping prepare future teachers through engaging teaching, curriculum innovation and scholarly practice. Description The Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications for tenured/tenure-track open-rank faculty positions within its Computer Science Program. The search will prioritize candidates who specialize in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), including but not limited to areas such as deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, ethical/trustworthy AI, and interdisciplinary applications of AI/ML in various domains. We welcome applicants working on fundamental advances in AI/ML as well as those applying AI/ML methods to advance other areas of computer science and related disciplines (e.g, software engineering, systems, security, human-computer interaction, robotics, databases, or related fields). Description The Kamei Reverse Bioengineering Laboratory within the Divisions of Science and Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Associate position that advances the frontiers of developmental biology and disease modeling. The laboratory integrates stem-cell biology, fluorescence imaging, bioinformatics, and advanced nano- and micro-engineering to decode organogenesis and early embryogenesis, translating these insights into regenerative medicine, drug discovery, and precision therapeutics. The appointed fellow will design and fabricate nano- and micro-engineered platforms that interface with human stem cells, investigate cellular and molecular mechanisms governing development and pathology, lead experiments from conception through publication in high-impact journals, mentor graduate and undergraduate researchers, and contribute to grant writing and interdisciplinary collaborations.
