What you can expect: The team of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Caroline Heber is looking for a research assistant (prae doc) with a strong interest in tax law, particularly in tax-related legal issues, in order to support research and teaching in the field of tax law, starting in September 2026. The announcement is made for four years, whereby the employment relationship is initially limited to 1.5 years and is automatically extended to a total of four years, unless the employer submits a declaration of non-renewal after a maximum of 12 months. Your future tasks: You actively participate in research, teaching & administration, which means: We expect you to finalize your dissertation agreement within 12-18 months. You participate in publications / academic articles. You are involved in research projects and scientific studies.  Yor are involved in the organisation of conferences, meetings, symposiums. You apply for projects and raise (external) funds. Independent teaching of courses defined by the collective agreement You supervize students. You participate in evaluation activities and in quality assurance You take on administrative tasks in research, teaching and administration.
