Tashkent State Technical University is one of the oldest universities in Uzbekistan and is located in Tashkent City.
There are eight faculties at the university, specialising in fields of engineering including: heat power engineering, oil and gas, electronics and automation, geological prospecting and mining metallurgy, engineering technologies, machine building, mechanics, and power engineering.
Although the university specialises in engineering, it offers a range of other courses for students to choose including corporate governance, biotechnology, general chemistry, information technologies, English, mathematics and land transport systems.
The university has agreements with over 70 universities across 15 countries including Germany, ߣߣƵ, China, UK, Poland, Japan and Switzerland.The university participates in the Erasmus+ programme, where students can complete international exchanges.
