Interdisciplinary research has the power to unlock insights from multiple academic fields to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges. ߣߣÊÓƵ’s Interdisciplinary Science Rankings (ISR), developed in association with Schmidt Science Fellows, celebrates universities that lead in interdisciplinary research. The ranking is designed to advance scientific excellence and foster collaboration across disciplines.Ìý

Launched in 2024 as THE’s largest-ever debut ranking, ISR continues to grow rapidly. The ISR 2026Ìýedition saw a 22% increase in ranked universities, with 911 institutions from 94 countries and territories featured. Explore the full results hereÌýand review the complete methodology here.Ìý
