The Queen had a taste of real life in the common room when she paused for a coffee with graduate theology students on a visit to open Cambridge University's new divinity faculty. All the students had to offer Her Majesty was a cup of Nescafe, either black or with powdered milk. She opted for black, and took one sip before putting it back on the table.
