"The Group agreed to the intention of the Austrian representative, Dr Mieling, to establish closer contacts with Indian research institutions in order to explore opportunities and to encourage possible cooperation for mutual benefit according to the "à la carte" principle on a case-by-case basis.

Dr Mieling would participate in the international conference "India R&D 2005 - The World's Knowledge Hub of the Future" on 7-8 November 2005 in New Delhi on behalf of the Austrian delegation representing the incoming Presidency of the EU. Information material on COST (leaflet "About COST 2005") would be made available at the meeting."
