A conference on 'advanced technologies in crime prevention and detection' will take place on 3 and 4 November in London, the UK.

The event will demonstrate technologies across the following areas:
- product and brand protection - holograms, smart inks, security marking, nano bar coding;
- identification and authentication - biometrics, offender tracking, DNA, voice recognition;
- monitoring and detection - advanced building materials, biosensors for warfare, enhanced surveillance techniques, protective wear.
