The award for the most glamorous science degree to be launched this year must surely go to the London College of Fashion. It is offering students the opportunity to get a BSc in cosmetic science. The course runs for four years, one of which is a work placement. It aims to give students "valuable insight into characteristics of the beauty and cosmetics industries and their consumers, as well as detailed knowledge of creating and launching new products".
