Spotted in Yorkshire last week were Christine and Neil Hamilton, attending a University of York Wine Society reception, after Christine - who graduated from York - agreed to be patron of the society. She said one of the reasons she agreed was because she likes the society's motto "Oxford spits, York swallows".
