Bradford University's expertise in winter sports has attracted a senior Norwegian researcher in snow and mountain tourism. Arvid Flagestad, a former secretary-general of the Norwegian Confederation of Sports and Olympic committee for the 1994 winter Olympics in Lillehammer, flies to the university from Oslo every six weeks for personal tutorials.
