Anyone with a commercially viable business plan for the production and commercialisation of nanotechnology products and services is invited to enter the plan in the2006 Nanochallenge competition.

The competition is designed to attract nanotechnology business ideas from around the world, and to give birth to start up companies by providing them with entrepreneurial education and by linking them to interested investors.

The best project will be awarded 300,000 euro. Two-thirds of the prize money is to be used as seed investment, and the remaining one-third for services and infrastructure.
