Through its Foundation Programme and Low Carbon Innovation Programme, The Carbon Trust expects to have £75 million of funding available over three years to support the development, deployment and promotion of low carbon technologies.
Funding of up to £150,000 is available for projects undertaking pre-competitive research and development work on new low carbon technologies (both energy efficient technologies and low carbon energy supplies), including the construction and testing of initial prototypes.
