Commission invites feedback on socio-economic sciences and humanities in FP7

The European Commission has launched a consultation on the draft research agenda for the theme 'socio-economic sciences and the humanities' in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

The document under consultation outlines the SSH research agenda within each of the following seven activities:

  • growth, employment and competitiveness in a knowledge society;
  • combining economic, social and environmental objectives in a European perspective;
  • major trends in society and their implications;
  • Europe in the world;
  • the citizen in the European Union;
  • socio-economic and scientific indicators;
  • foresight activities.

Interested parties are invited to provide the Commission with comments on the design of each of these activities, using the web address below.

The consultation will close at the end of June 2006.
