A conference on financing innovation and creating new, technology-based firms will take place from 23 to 24 November in Seville, Spain.

This second edition of the conference will to provide a platform for discussion between key stakeholders in the innovation process, namely entrepreneurs, investors, intermediate bodies and public institutions at a regional, national and European level. Specifically, the conference aims to:

- present successful experiences on the use of certain innovation finance models in different European regions;

- explore different existing mechanisms for the creation of technology based companies;

- gather the points of view of entrepreneurs and investors in relation to financing innovation;

- provide opportunities for the learning and assimilation of good practices that allow policy makers to plan more appropriate actions for the development of innovation finance strategies.
