An international conference on innovative solutions for competitiveness in the transport industry will take place in San Sebastian, Spain, from 4 to 7 October.

The European scientific community and transport manufacturers are committed to researching and developing alternative (i.e. cheaper, stronger, better adapted) materials and processes for the transport industry. This international conference aims to promote technology transfer between different transport sectors; to show the latest achievements and advances in alternative materials; and to discuss and identify key and emerging technologies and future trends in the sector. Leaders from the transport industry, research centres and universities are invited to present and debate these issues.
