A European conference on local energy action will take place in Brussels, Belgium (and live on the Internet) on 7 and 8 February.

The programme includes presentations and sessions on sustainable energy; local energy agencies' priorities; the EU's Sustainable Energy Europe campaign; and sustainable transport and energy education. The event will also see the presentation of opinions from various associations and lobby groups on Commission proposals and action plans.

Delegates are invited to propose themes for working group meetings ahead of the conference.
