Confident about that correction?

The tit-for-tat public relations war between the Association of University Teachers and Brunel University over plans to cut up to 60 academic posts has extended as far as The Guardian newspaper's Corrections and Clarifications column. On July 19, the column reported that Brunel staff had "neither raised nor passed a vote of no confidence in the vice-chancellor, Steven Schwartz", as a previous item in The Guardian had asserted. However, a week later, the same column reported: "In fact, the AUT ran an online poll in which a large majority of Brunel staff... expressed no confidence in the university's senior management."
