European Parliament legislative resolution on the proposal for a decision of the Council and of the Commission on the conclusion on behalf of the European Community and the European Atomic Energy Community of the Agreement on Scientific and Technological Cooperation between the European Communities of the one part and the Swiss Confederation of the other part (COM(2005)0333 - C6-0345/2005 - 2005/0135(CNS))

(Consultation procedure) The European Parliament,

- having regard to the proposal for a Council and Commission decision (COM(2005)0333)(1),

- having regard to Article 170 and Article 300(2), first subparagraph of the EC Treaty,

- having regard to Article 300(3), first subparagraph, of the EC Treaty, pursuant to which the Council consulted Parliament (C6-0345/2005),

- having regard to Rules 51, 83(7) and 43(1) of its Rules of Procedure,

- having regard to the report of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (A6-0337/2005),

1. Approves conclusion of the agreement;

2. Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and Commission, and the governments and parliaments of the Member States and of the Swiss Confederation.
