In 2000 The European Commission co-sponsored a multimedia programme on Radiation Protection Training in Interventional Radiology with the Complutense University of Madrid (Spain). An interactive CD-ROM (called MARTIR) was produced as result. MARTIR (Multimedia and Audiovisual Radiation Protection Training in Interventional Radiology). It contains basic and advanced topics of radiation protection and quality control for interventional radiology. The English language version of the CD-ROM is now available for download
