Subject: Euratom/Japan co-operation and research agreement in the nuclear field - proposed modifications in view of signature of the agreement

Delegations will find attached the above draft agreement, incorporating modifications requested by the Japanese side and already presented to the Working Party on Atomic Questions. Should the attached amended text be acceptable to delegations, the Commission will inform Japan with a view to the signing of the Agreement.

This item will be on the agenda of the Working Party on Atomic Questions on 29 June.
