The fourth European conference on computational biology, 'ECCB05', and also the sixth meeting of the Spanish bioinformatics network will take place in Madrid, Spain, from 28 September to 1 October.

Organised by the Spanish Institute on Bioinformatics, the event will provide visitors with an opportunity to find a wide range of solutions and discover new trends. The conference programme for ECCB05 includes the presentation of papers by internationally recognised experts, who will discuss topics such as databases, protein structure and function, genes and genomes, microarrays, phylogenetics, systems biology, and algorithms.
