The third 'European grid technology days' will take place on 19 September in Brussels, Belgium. This public event will be opened by Viviane Reding, Commissioner for Information Society and Media, followed by a number of keynote speeches and an industrial forum on 'take-up and adoption of grids and service oriented architecture for future information and communication technologies (ICT) - opportunities and challenges ahead'.

The event will also launch the second wave of Grid research projects, funded under the 'Information Society Technologies (IST)' section of the Sixth Framework Programme.Further information:
