The European Membrane Protein Consortium, funded under the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) is to hold an industrial workshop on 16 and 17 June in Tavira, Portugal.

The event will include presentations on:
- E. coli expression;
- L. lactis expression;
- cell-free translation;
- yeast expression;
- insect cell expression;
- mammalian expression of integral membrane proteins.

Participants will also address FP6 and public-private partnerships, structural proteomics, the impact of high-throughput methods on structural biology and milestones for E-MeP.
