Amid the flurry of university league tables and guidebooks on offer, only one focuses on what many believe students really care about - the prospect of sex. Push.co.uk notes that female students at Bishop Grosseteste University in Lincoln will have stiff competition, as there are more than six women for every man. "Smaller institutions in London also fare well," say the guide's (presumably male) writers, "with University of the Arts, Roehampton and the Royal Veterinary College all having more than three women for each man." Last year, Imperial College was listed as having the highest male to female ratio, at 63:37, earning it a "boo" from the guide - although not, one imagines, from its female readers.
