Fears that former vice-chancellor Ken Edwards has been forced into a twilight life in computer repair were raised at the University of Leicester this week. The computers provided this week for journalists at the British Association science festival were all marked "Return to Ken Edwards, room 101".
Happily, it turns out that the message means that they belong in a room in the building named after Edwards on his retirement.
