Germany's Ministry of Defence will conduct a robotic trial in May 2006 in Hammelburg, and is inviting companies to participate.

The trial will be conducted in order to provide an overview of the European state-of-the-art in the field of unmanned ground vehicles (UGV), with a particular focus on robot systems that could be realised in the short term.

Representatives from military and civilian organisations will attend, and the trial will be accompanied by a comprehensive exhibition on a variety of robotics themes.
