Those watching the new Higher Education Minister Kim Howells to try to ascertain his priorities may have spotted that part-time education is one of his pet causes. But it appears this is not entirely his choice.
"My wife is studying part time at Glamorgan University," he confessed, "so it's the last thing I hear before I go to sleep at night."
