Human genetic research inquiry

Human genetic research will be the subject of the next major inquiry of the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee. The inquiry will be into the ethical, regulatory and economic implications of the human genetic research.

One purpose of the inquiry is to help inform inter-national decision-making on the protection of human genetic material, whih is expected to occur in 1998. Submissions should be in by December 9.
