1. The Commission forwarded the above proposal to the Council on 23 December 2005.

2. The European Parliament delivered its opinion on 5 July 2006.

3. The Working Party on Atomic Questions having reached agreement on the text of this Directive this text has now been finalised by the legal-linguists as set out in doc. .

4. Coreper could therefore invite the Council to adopt, as an "A" item, the text as set out in doc. .
