Good luck to the University of Kent's cricket club in its match next month against a local pub team, the Lashings. The Lashings has just signed West Indian batting legend Brian Lara, who will make his debut in the match on May 18. Despite the obvious challenge, the university team appears to be quietly optimistic. Vice-captain and fast bowler Amer Saleem said: "I am relishing the thought of bowling against one of the world's best batsmen. We shall see if he can hook as well as he thinks."
