The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) has published a call for tenders for research and experimental development services relating to 'in vitro' data.

The JRC's European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Testing Methods (ECVAM) wishes to fund a study for the generation of 'in vitro' data on ADME-related physicochemical and biological properties. The data will allow the prediction of pharmacokinetics in rat and man, using high-throughput data-generation systems. The study will be integrated into A-CUTE-TOX tiered testing strategies to predict acute systemic toxicity.
