The Ministries of Economic Affairs and Science, Research and the Arts of Baden-Württemberg and the Seinbeis-Europa-Zentrum are organising an information day on the EU's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), which will take place on 6 October in Stuttgart, Germany.

Representatives from universities, research institutes and industry are invited to the first information event in Germany on FP7. The one-day event will provide information on the goals, content and possibilities for collaboration in the programme, keeping participants up to date with the latest developments.

The programme includes an introduction to FP7 by a director in the Commission's research DG, as well as workshops dealing with the thematic areas of the programme and an introduction to the new Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP).
