Brussels, 13 Jul 2005

An information day on supporting policy development under the fourth call of Priority 1 'Life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health' of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 19 September.

This info-day, focussed on research topic 3.6 of the 2005 Work Programme, is designed to present the views of various stakeholder groups and - based on that - launch an intensive discussion with all other participants.

The introduction to the event will be given by the services of the Commission.

The event is also an occasion for brokerage and for facilitating the formation of consortia willing to present proposals for the next call in the field of foresight to support policy development.
