The 18th EORTC - NCI - AACR symposium, entitled 'Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics', will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic, between 7 and 10 November.

Organised by the Federation of European Cancer Societies, the event will examine the ongoing revolution in understanding the molecular basis of cancer, which has led to the discovery and development of numerous innovative agents: 'designer' diagnostics, new prognostic tests, 'smart' drugs and other novel ways of tackling cancer.

This year, the conference will be joined by three of the largest cancer organisations, to discuss how to bring these drugs to market most effectively: the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer; the USA's National Cancer Institute; and the American Association for Cancer Research.
