An international symposium on 'moving towards zero emission plants' will be held in Leptokarya, Pieria, Greece, from 20 to 22 June.

The main objective of the event is to present competitive emission-reduction technologies and research and development (R&D) advances in the field of pollutant reduction in energy production.

Topics discussed will include:
- advanced clean coal technologies;
- low temperature carbonisation;
- CO2 abatement in energy;
- production;
- international CCTs' implementation prospects.
