Arthur Conan Doyle's The Hound of the Baskervilles has been republished in a new edition by third-year publishing students at Napier University. Sponsored by the Edward Clark Bequest as part of the celebrations marking 500 years of printing in Scotland, the students worked on layout, typography and cover design. Alistair McCleery, director of Napier's Scottish Centre for the Book, said: "We are sure that Edward Clark, chairman and managing director of R&R Clark of Edinburgh, a major printer of its day, would be delighted to see his legacy used to support such a Scottish-centred educational and innovative publishing project."
