Neil runs rings round audience

That mysterious mobile phone that everyone dreads blared out loudly while Neil Kinnock, former Labour leader and chairman of the British Council, gave a speech at the Guild of Educators dinner last week. As it rang out for the second time no one was more embarrassed than Mr Kinnock himself - who had to fish the offending item out of his pocket and switch it off to make himself heard.
