The language of the internet generation has entered Ulster-Scots.

Earlier this month, the University of Ulster and the Ulster-Scots Agency opened the world's first Institute of Ulster-Scots Studies.

The agency's website - available in English, Irish and Ulster-Scots - translates "corporate plan" as "heich ploy", "chief executive (interim)" as "heid faictor (tha while)" and "Belfast" as "Bilfawst".

Disappointingly, "download" is the same in all three languages.
