Pity Bedfordshire University. Just weeks after ditching the Luton University name, a moniker often unfairly deemed synonymous with bums-on-seats dumbing down, cynical readers have pointed out that the university's brand new logo bears an uncanny resemblance to that of the fictional University of Bums on Seats. Peep remembers fondly the motto of the vice-chancellor Alan Dubious: "Nobody should be exempt from a university eduction."
