TranSMEs consortium has a pleasure to announce an open call for pre-proposals submission in transport and environment sectors.

This call is dedicated for Small and Medium Sized Enterprises, research organizations, NGOs and Universities from Bulgaria, Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Slovenia and Turkey.

The present call will support the following project ideas:
- innovative solution;
- significance of technological problems addressed;
- relevance to the EU research/industry policy priorities;
- involvement of partnerships of organizations across sectors (e.g. industry-research) and cross-countries (e.g. partnership of ACC or NMS organizations).

Pre-proposals must be included in transport OR environment field.

The top-ranked proposals (one in each of the two thematic domains covered by this Call) will be selected to receive further assistance by the TranSMEs Experts Team in forming a transnational consortium and assistance in preparing full project proposals to the European Commission under the first expected call of FP7.

The deadline for pre-proposal submission is December 31st, 2006.
