As any alumni officer will tell you, finding current addresses for your former inmates is possibly the toughest part of the job. Corpus Christi College Oxford, organising a gaudy for the late 1970s vintage, this week sent invitees a list of those of their contemporaries they are unable to locate. The presence of one C. J. Harris (1978) among those missing in action is perhaps not too surprising. You'd hardly expect an Oxford college to acknowledge a professor of economics at Cambridge.
