Prior information notice - various services for the promotion of SME competitiveness

The Commission's Enterprise and Industry DG has published prior information of a future call for tenders relating to various services.

The areas that will be covered by this call are the following:


- design of an award scheme for European centres/regions promoting entrepreneurship (total estimated budget - 130,000 euro);
- translation of documents around SME and Entrepreneurship policy (total estimated budget - 3.2 million euro);
- effects of tax systems on the retention of earnings and the increase of equity (total estimated budget - 350,000 euro);
- creating early warning tools to prevent business failure (total estimated budget - 100,000 euro);
- creating an info kit to tackle the stigma of business failure (total estimated budget - 70,000 euro);
- technical and administrative assistance contract for the organisation and the audit of the Euro Info Centres network;
- transfer of expertise through mentoring in small and medium sized enterprises (total estimated budget - 1 million euro);
- comparative study of best practices in the field of social protection of new entrepreneurs and their co-working partner, and analysis of the incentive effect of the level of social protection on business creation (total estimated budget - 380,000 euro);
- impact of cooperative groups on the competitiveness of their craft and small enterprise members (total estimated budget - 375,000 euro).
