Academia Europaea will run an international symposium on quality assessment in institutions of higher education in Pavia, Italy, from 23 to 25 March.

The conference will deliver an up-to-date analysis of current and possible future assessment methodologies, practices and problems that are already applied across European countries, or that are in the planning stages of implementation.

The programme includes sessions on:
- constructs of quality;
- the assessed academic (case studies);
- instruments, tools and systems;
- synthesis of evidence and decision.
