Nonetheless, some brave institutions have resisted joining any of the many lobbying groups. Until now. There's an e-mail doing the rounds suggesting the setting up of an informal group of non-aligned universities. Now why didn't anyone think of that before? Pure genius. Someone put that in the minutes.
