The first major donation to the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama's £3.5 million "Stage for Success" campaign has come from the student union. The £50,000 contribution is profit from the union's limited company. Students are pledging a total of £100,000 towards the campaign, launched last month by Welsh-born opera star Bryn Terfel.
