The series, renowed for its glamorous and immaculately turned-out cast, features a college that "may not be that similar to the one you know", concedes the NUS to its members. But it must be gratified that Hollyoaks has recently featured the union in storylines such as one with a student facing homophobia while seeking election as the college's campaigns officer.
