Brussels, 05 Apr 2005

A space technology transfer forum will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 26 and April. A number of key decision makers will be invited to attend the event in order to discuss the benefits of space exploration and technology transfer, and will be asked to propose a plan of action that can be put to the European Commission.

From the side of industry, representatives from the German Aerospace Centre (DLR), the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), Arianespace and Galileo Industries will give presentations, as will academics from around Europe. An exhibition will also provide examples of technology transfer.

The event is being organised by the Community of Ariane Cities and the Representation of the State of Baden-Württemberg to the EU in Brussels.
