The European Commission has published new call for proposal texts for specific support actions under the 'Aeronautics and Space' and 'Sustainable Surface Transport' thematic priorities of the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6).

Both calls cover:

• promoting small and medium sized enterprise (SME) participation;
• stimulating dissemination and exploitation of results;
• realising the European Research Area (ERA);
• promoting participation by candidate countries;
• stimulating international cooperation.

The Aeronautics and Space call also addresses the development of an EU research strategy in the sector.
