The President, Prof. Francesco FEDI, welcomed the participants from 33 COST Member States to the meeting1, in particular the new members of the Committee: Ms Catherine RAEDER VESTERGAARD (DK), Mr Stefan BALDURSSON (IS), Ms Rita WARD and Ms Helen DIXON (IE), Mr Husam MASSALHA and Ms Mina TEICHER (IL) and Ms Ecaterina GICA (RO).

1. ADOPTION OF THE AGENDA

The Committee adopted the agenda that had been circulated to delegations on 12 November 2004.

2. APPROVAL OF THE SUMMARY OF CONCLUSIONS OF THE 159th MEETING
