Architectural researchers at University College, London, will compare the impact of air pollutants in air-conditioned and naturally ventilated museums for the Museums and GalleriesCommission.

Scientists at UCL's Bartlett School ofArchitecture will work with the Horniman Museum; the Department of Environment, Transport and the Regions; Manchester Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum. They aim to develop guidelines for energy-efficient pollutant control in museums andgalleries.
